Book review - Love, Rosie (Where rainbows end)

Well i finished this book about a week ago 'about a week agooo' and it is so so so so good!
I mean i love reading but i'm such a picky reader and i usually go for more adventurous books e.g Hunger Games (which is the best trilogy everrrr!!) or divergent (what i am currently reading).
But this book is about love with a twist,i honestly could not put it down! I saw the film when it was released in July last year (now available for DVD) before i read this and i thought the film was one of the best movies i've ever seen. I didn't think the book would be that good since i already knew what was going to happen but it was quite different to the movie (in a good way).

Without reveling to much, the plot of the book is about a girl called Rosie and her best friend Alex who has been her best friend since they were 5 and continued to be.
Both are from a little village in Ireland.
The book is set out in letters and text messages (which sounds confusing but really isn't) and it shows Rosie and Alex sending each other notes in nursery up until there around 50 years old sending letters. It basically lets you see Rosie and Alex's friendship grow as they get older and life gets in the way.
When they are 17 Alex has to move to Boston because his dad gets a job, Rosie plans to to move to Boston to go to there Collage to study Hotel management.
When the last school dance approaches Alex can't make it, so Rosie doesn't have a date, she lowers her standers and goes with Brian 'the whine'.
A few months later she falls pregnant, ruining her plans to move to Boston.
Of course her and Alex still keep in touch but her life changes drastically.

i think the book is fab, but i do think it would be quite hard to understand if you're under 13 because i'm 13 and only really understood it because i saw the movie. I recommend it soo much though because it makes you see things differently and if you don't really read then at least watch the movie it is AMAZING on so many levels.
